    SENIOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


    My relationship with Jesus Christ is my first love and passion. Next comes my ministry to my family and then to those who are struggling with strongholds and addictions. I am a Marine Corps veteran and have been in the recovery ministry since 2010. I am a graduate of Teen Challenge where I also served as both Executive Director and Regional Director, helping oversee four centers. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Urbana University. I have been married for over 15 years and have three amazing daughters and an awesome son. My hobbies include preaching the Word, working out, running, and fishing.

    I was raised in church and taught the word of God from a young age. But around 14, I rebelled against the truth. It began with an eating disorder but evolved into meth and alcohol addiction. My life was a twisted wreck of lies, insecurities, and chaos. In 2006, I had a radical encounter with God that I can only describe as life-changing. God began to heal and fill up every empty and broken place inside with His spirit.  I began Life Changers Outreach with my husband, Mark, in 2012, with the vision of seeing that same radical transformation in others. I am blessed to serve the Lord.

    APOSTOLIC TRAINER

    I stood in jail facing felony charges and asked God to take my addiction away from me. The judge agreed to send me to Life Changers Outreach. The Lord used this place to radically change my life. After completing the program, I now get to minister and witness other lives changed by God.


  • VANESSA SMITH

    After graduating college, I married a guy who was an IV drug user and soon became heavily addicted myself. I became a slave to my addiction. I came into Life Changers Outreach so broken; unable to stand on my own two feet. I found everything that I had been looking for and His name is Jesus!

    I joined Life Changers in 2014. Through the teaching and training, I know who I am in Christ and no longer have a desire for drugs in my life. God has given me hope, a purpose, and a future. I give all the glory to God for working in my life through the love and training of this ministry.

    I was bound by addiction for many years. At my lowest point, I was sitting in a jail cell and God began work in my life. I got sick and tired of the old lifestyle and I was so broken. I found Life Changers Outreach, and it changed my life forever. I gave my life to Jesus and He delivered me from that dark lifestyle. Now I am free and living for the Lord.

    I was a small-town girl who found myself in a grave of addiction, abuse, guilt, shame, and pain. I came to Life Changers Outreach and had an encounter with JESUS that broke every chain of addiction, depression, anxiety, and insecurity in my life!  JESUS OVERCAME THE GRAVE to pull me out of mine!

    I was bound by the chains of a 19 year addiction. I lost everything due to my addiction. Once I came to Life Changers Outreach, I learned to fully surrender my life to God and then was filled with the Holy Spirit. God restored me and I found my true identity solely in Jesus Christ. I am forever grateful for Life Changers Outreach!

    I was once a child, broken and stuck in the bondage of depression and anxiety. When I fully surrendered to the Lord, He took away the depression, anxiety, and fear! Now I can say that I’m walking in complete freedom from the bondages that were once holding me in fear. Thank you, Jesus, for my freedom and for breaking the chains!

    My wife and I both entered Life Changers Outreach hopelessly bound in addiction. It wasn’t until we encountered the presence and love of God that we had hope to overcome the bondage that had tormented us for years. There’s no going back to the former life because we’ve found a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!

    I grew up in a home of violence and abuse. I started using at a very young age. For 35 years, I was in a cycle of deep depression, addiction, reckless behavior, psych wards, and jail time. I had no idea who I was until I encountered the Love of Jesus. God has transformed my life and I am blessed to co-labor with him to share the gospel and see many set free.

    Twelve years of opiate addiction caused me to lose my children, my home, and everything. I came to Life Changers in 2017 and was taught the word of God and introduced to Jesus Christ. I have been restored to my children that I lost to my addiction and now I'm living for the Lord every day.

    A 20-year alcohol addiction left me in a place of hopelessness and despair. I had lost everything that ever meant anything to me, along with any dignity I had and willingness to live. I cried out to God to either make a way for me or let me die. That was 5 years ago. He made a way when there was no way. I can’t imagine life being better than this.

    I struggled with addiction for more than half of my life before coming to know Jesus and the freedom I could walk in if I would surrender my will to His will. After entering Life Changers and being introduced to the love of Jesus in such a way I could not deny I have found true FREEDOM! I’m so grateful for the blood of Jesus that washes me clean.

    I once suffered from addiction, depression, violence, and bad decisions. I lost so many things and so many people around me that I loved. I thought everyone had given up on me until I found Life Changers Outreach. Jesus met me there and I was radically set free from the bondage of addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I've never been happier.

    I was so lost and broken in addiction that I didn’t know if I was gonna live or die. But GOD! I surrendered my life to Jesus and have been clean for over 6 years, full restoration, married to a man of God, and surrounded by people who push me to be better. God just keeps showing up. My life is full of peace and joy and my family is proud of me. There is no going back.

    For nearly 20 years, I spent my life in addiction and bondage. I was offered a chance to come to Life Changers while in jail and decided to turn my will, my pride, and my life over to the Lord nearly 7 years ago. In just that time the Lord has restored all that I thought was lost forever. My life has never been the same since I found God. Joshua 24:15 - "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord".

I cried out and the Lord brought me to Life Changers Outreach where I found freedom from addiction and bondage through Jesus. And I have answered the calling in my life to serve and help lead others.

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Once held by drugs and the consequences of it, the Lord provided an opportunity of escape and even though I was facing prison time, God had better plans for me. The judge overturned my sentence and God made me a free man. The Lord has shown me how to be a son, a brother, and a father. I’ve found joy in helping others see what their true worth really is.

    I was in and out of jail up until 6 years ago. I hit rock bottom and I lost everything. My children and my family didn't want anything to do with me. In June of 2016, I started a path that not only changed my life but impacted the lives of others. I have full restoration of my family and children. I now know I have a purpose in life and want to see others set free!

    I came to Life Changers in 2018. The Lord has done amazing work in my life. I came here fighting for my life with interstitial lung disease. I know the healing power of Christ as He’s healed me from gran-mall seizures and a traumatic brain injury. I am married and blessed with a wonderful wife and able to share my testimony about the freedom in Christ with others!

    I was lost in addiction and diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, major depression disorder, bipolar, anxiety, and PTSD. I was without hope. I asked Jesus to please save me and that’s when I came across Life Changers Outreach. Through this program, the Lord set me free from not only addiction but all of my mental illnesses. I give all the glory to God. Jer.29:1

    I had years of addiction, destruction, heartbreak, and prison sentences. I came to the end of my rope and was tired of being tired. God led me to Life Changers where I had a radical encounter with the real Jesus that would forever change my life. Thanks to Life Changers for giving me a place to encounter the Lord and change my life when I had nowhere else to go!

    It was at Life Changers Outreach in Dec of 2012 that God set me free from many life-controlling issues, such as drug addiction, depression, and an eating disorder. I had an encounter with Him that changed my life. He opened my eyes and I began to see that He had a plan for my life and that He loved me. God has done so much for me and amazes me every day.

    I spent 30 years in and out of active addiction. In 2015 I came to Life Changers. Through the teachings and the love I was shown, I met God in a way I never knew was possible. The Lord used Life Changers to build a solid foundation for me to follow His direction for my life. Try Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! I can not be ashamed ever again!

    I dropped my husband off at Life Changers Outreach and thought our problems would be solved. After two-plus years of drowning in bitterness, I hit rock bottom. I needed what he had found. I thank God daily that He made the way for me to be able to move and learn who I was in Christ. Now, my husband and I are thriving with Jesus as our glue and our foundation!

    I had reached the lowest point in my life. Thirty-plus years of addiction had wrecked just about every relationship and cost me everything I owned. A counselor in a secular rehab gave my wife the information about this ministry and we decided to see what it was about. What it’s about is life and life more abundantly. God is a God of restoration, deliverance, and healing.

    I was in addiction for 21 years. I lost everything not once, but twice. I lost my children also. I was so tired of trying to get clean but failing. But God. I asked my counselor in rehab about somewhere to go once I got released or I would be homeless. He told me about Life Changers. I’m thankful that I called. I came in and met Jesus and I have never looked back.

    When I came into Life Changers I was hopeless. I was 57 years old, I had been involved with drugs since my youth, and I was finished. I knew that I no longer wanted to be dependent on something unfulfilling as the substances that never helped. I’m glad I gave God and His ministry Life Changers a try. It has been changed my life from the inside out.

    I struggled with radical drug addiction of all sorts for 20 years. I overdosed on Fentanyl in July of 2016 and agreed to come into Life Changers. I have 5 1/2 years clean of all alcohol drugs and even nicotine! I have found a group of believers that encourage me to a deeper relationship with Jesus and cheer me on in everyday life! Try Jesus and LCO for restoration!

    I went into addiction when I was 23 years old after my mom committed suicide. I was in addiction for 7 years. I lost everything. At the end of my rope, I came to Life Changers Outreach in WV. The Lord revealed Himself to me and I am forever changed. He took the desire away and I live free! God is so good and I’m so thankful to be free in Christ.

    I was lost for so many years trying to fill a void in my life that I could never fill until I came into a relationship with Jesus. Then my life was changed as I started following Jesus. I started loving myself and realized He had a purpose and plan for my life. He has restored hope, joy, and love in my heart and I am forever changed.

    After having spiraled out of control on medications prescribed due to the loss of my left leg from a near-fatal motorcycle accident and dealing with PTSD from earlier military incidents, God brought me to Life Changers, and the wreckage of my life was reversed. Now I look forward to the life I have and what He has planned for me!

    Life was great. I graduated high school and I was testing the limits of life that led me down a dark road I wasn’t ready for. After about a 12 year addiction, it was prison or Life Changers! Life Changers led me to Jesus where I surrendered my life, He took it all away and replaced it with joy, hope, and peace through His grace and mercy.

    I was broken and beat down running from the Lord. I was lost in addiction with no hope in sight. I had lost everything; death was waiting to consume me. Since coming into Life Changers and having a realization of the Father’s unfailing love for me, my life has been changed for all eternity.

    The use of heroin led me to an overdose. I felt God breath life back into my lungs! He had something more for me! I went to LifeChangers Outreach where my life was radically changed. A deep healing took place in me. I am so grateful! Now I have the pleasure of serving others who were exactly where I was in the beautiful country of Costa Rica!
